I’m a book lover and librarian who bakes in my spare time and I look forward to sharing these interests with you. I believe that cooking doesn’t need to be hard or complicated, nor do you need rare and expensive ingredients– just start with what you have, use your imagination, learn from others, and enjoy! I try to keep my recipes simple and reasonably quick, with the longer, complicated ones saved for special occasions, guests, or those moments in life when hiding in the kitchen pretending I don’t have a mountain of work waiting for me seems like a good idea.  I also like to add in a little nutritional information for the fun of it, but I’m not a dietitian so insert here all the disclaimers about talking to your doctor/lawyer/favorite guru before believing me! Feel free to ask questions or let me know what you think!
